If I press my nose to the top of his head and inhale deeply
That's a true dog person! I love to inhale my animals scents. Just today I put a cat to my face and inhaled their tummy fur smell. Weird?

Decaf, what a nice hit and run person to leave a note! I'm impressed! 8)

Top of ottoman is looking better, I cooked supper which nobody ate b/c they want to spend another night with Grams so will eat with her, and am now eating while watching "Big Brother" for the first time.

Not to me, that's not weird, Bama. :D

My long day is catching up with me, so after I have fed these neglecty pups I'm going to take a nap. Momentum is sooooo happy to be allowed back on the main floor with the family that he settled straight onto my bed and stayed there while I walked Job. Job made it all the way to the park and walked an inner circle and back. That is now his longest marathon walk, and he's not interested in doing any unnecessary standing now that he's home. But he surely enjoyed his walk while he was on it.

Enjoy the nap, Dogged!

I think I'll work on another stack of papers...my medical folder.

I bought chunks and gravy dog food by accident this afternoon and it has turned out to be very popular. The gravy coated the kibble that I added, and Job scarfed the whole lot with no pickiness. Hmmmmm.... :)

I hope that your medical papers do not give you a case of Incredible Hulk brain, Bama.

Wandering off for a little lie down now....

Fair is fare, Free, since I consider my pets to be my babies.

I had my nap and now feel ready to tackle my next shift. I think I'll dive straight into the kitchen. I'll empty out the dw and make space by filling it again, and then I can start emptying my fridge into those slow cookers. Mo's run-in with the skunk meant that I never got around to dealing with the bin of vegetables that arrived yesterday.

LOL, Free. I sniff dd6's hair. Dd11 is too tall to do that anymore so I just get her in a headlock and give her a head noogie. :)

Dogged, you're the best dog chef ever! Job told me to tell you. ;)

No ginormous green brain here, I went through a pile of insurance statements/doctor appointment dates in the calendar and made a list of copays/mileage for tax purposes. After getting past the fact that someone went to the doctor 9x in March (dh followups, dd6 ear infections, me obgyn checkup), the other months were a breeze.

Now going through a very small pile (I think 3-4 papers max) of dd11's school/band paperwork to get payment amount and automatic deduction schedule for her new (so new we haven't even received it yet) saxophone. It could be painful if I forget to subtract that every month on time!

That was practically painless! The paperwork part, not the payment part! :P

Now to go through notes from nutritionist...the piles are vanishing right before my eyes! Only 999,999 or so to go! :D

Do the sax mafia beat you with the saxophone if you forget to deduct the payment? There is so much about music that I don't know! :D

Well, I may have thought that I was on my way to the kitchen, but it turned out that I was on my way to the yard where I pulled burdock leaves while my old dog stretched his leash as far as it would go and gazed longingly at my neighbour's yard. The grass is always greener on the other side of the street because I haven't peed on it yet.

I sure don't want to be the one to find out! That gives all new meaning to "music to my ears"! ;)

I haven't budged toward the next pile yet.

Happy farming, Dogged!

My nutrition notebook is nice and neat now. It's time to recline on the sofa now. Good night.

And did I state as my goal to play Farm Frenzy badly? So that my maximum achievement on any level would be a simple pass with no gold or silver goals met? Oh good. Then I'm on track.

Have a good night, Bama. :D
