:D Good morning, decaf! Good luck with your 15 min adventures for the day!

I actually was using my timer a bit yesterday - I don't always use it, but think about it when I am starting a project I might not be too found of. Yesterday it had to do with plastic shopping bags that needed a good declutter. I had read that our town is now recycling those with numbers ( previously I had to put them in a recycle container at a grocery store) - so I was then trying to determine which ones had numbers and which ones didn't  . It struck me as such a funny process, that I decided to put on the timer as motivation. I had had some saved for different stores in case I needed them for returns, but am trying to think twice about my SHEness and what is really a better approach for me. Along with spring, I usually get a little bit more energy and better way of looking at things, so I am trying to take advantage of it while it's around!

:D Hope you all have a good day - DDyounger is on spring break but she is working all week. I pick her up for an appt with her specialist this afternoon though. I am curious about how that will go since she had some difficulty not too long ago. Her work is very good about being flexible for her for medical things - she is very fortunate that that's the case - they all love her there and are just so happy when she is home and she can come in and work for a few days! It makes me feel better that they get almost as concerned for her as we do, so I know they are watchful and care too.

Good morning, ladies. :D
How does a whole lol hide at your house, decaf? Favorite hiding places here are inside the washer or the dryer.
Yay for spring, butterfly. Hope all goes well today for you and DD!

I am vertical, and faking consciousness very well, and sooooooo disoriented. Very very odd dreams--my brain must have had a lot of stuff to organize. Y'know when you wake up and look around your room and it all looks very strange and unfamiliar and you're not convinced you're at home? That was this morning. I have a Dew and some kitties (maybe they will cancel each other out?) and the heater is running because I am freeeezing and oh look nowthere is a cat in front of th emonitor so I cannot see a single thing at all so please forgive typos...

OKay, I hope I pressed return a couple of times to get down here and start a list....TaDa:
flipped laundry to dryer per DH's request
determined I'm making dinner toignht
suggested I should bake something to warm the house up...DH announced there are 26 frozen bananas and suggested banana bread lol

Okay, she laid down so I can see the screen again........I think I need to work on the office today. There is so much stuff to declutter and organize and it makes up many things on my antiprocrastination list as well. I've not started packing and it's been on there for weeks. maybe I need to show a little faith and at least start the process. The boxes and paper in my car are starting to get just as annoying as the mortgage paperwork that's been sitting on the coffee table for 2-3 weeks waiting for DH to sign on his lines.........I'm gonna stop rambling and go get something to eat, or knit until the brain engages, ro something.....

Edited to paste the last known version:
To Crastinate:
1) thoroughly vacuum office and living room (corners, under furniture, etc.)
2) post office for boxes
3) spend :15 filing
4) caulk around new light fixture(s)
5) replace dead outside light fixture with the one I just took down from by the door
6) spend :15 decluttering/packing bookshelf in office
7) spend :15 reading/organizing/typing agency summaries for group website
8.) organize all this music

Goodmorning ladies -not quite as nice a morning as yesterday ,but anyday we start with no snow, ice or sleet in March is great. They said on weather last night, last year at this time we had 2 ft of snow on the ground, had new storm coming that would dump another foot and had just gotten over minus temps  .I'd forgotten how much fun last winter was .Now we have mostly bare ground and yesterday temps were in the high 40s .

O's- you definitely sound a bit frazzled, hope you get yourself put together soon. Mountain Dew is not breakfast(Mommy voice and shaking finger  )
Butterfly- good idea on using that timer. Unfortunatley I have learned to ignore mine too often  .Hope Dd can find out what's going on .You just reminded me I've got to call the VA center for Dh and find out how he gets a reg type appointment. He just doesn't seem to shake that last bug.
decaf- wow, your house is so clean that you could hide a whole lol  .I just found some things I"ve got to wash from my dejunking yesterday.May wait til tomorrow so I can hang them out -going to be too windy today

Tahdahs
reg before breakfast stuff -s+s
start fire in wood stove

Ddog out and in
quick spiff kit

Back up
air bedding
Work on POA

Countrycook, no snow is a good start to the day.
Oreosmommy, 'faking consciousness' descriptive phrase for all of us.

TADA
scanned fundraiser

brought materials to pet payroll to amuse self and
people at pet payroll :D

That's a cool idea for the bags, kitkat - I don't crochet, but I would have been able to keep a crocheter in supply!

Oreos - I'll add my "mom look" to CC's about that Mountain Dew - not the breakfast of champions!

decaf
- good work on the fundraiser, and I got through all the plastic bags - many are going out, and what I decided to save for my future declutter of a couploe of closets, I decided to keep in the laundry room. The kitchen looks much better, minus my container of plastic bags. It'll be interesting to see if DD or DH say something. My first bet is on DD.

Gotta grab the load of wash from the dryer - I sure do like the sunny days and the way they make me feel. That and the time change this coming Sunday and the longer daylight hours are a good combination for me, and I intend to take full advantage of it!

have a good day!

TaDa:
GONE THROUGH AND DECLUTTERED:
one tall bookshelf (put in a box only the things I want to keep and move...DH can go through the rest at his convenience)
one miscellaneous shopping bag of stuff by my desk
one huge pile of stuff on my desk
one smallish plastic caddy with hanging file folders of stuff in it

Wow, that was hard. There were some good/funny memories in the folders, like a few photos from elementary school of me helping at the zoo one day and carrying a tarantula around so visiting students could see it :D , and some birthday cards and poems from smart-aleck friends over the years  , and the program from my senior recital, but a lot of crushed dreams too. For example, in one of the folders I came across the "relationship inventory questionnaire" thingies we filled out in premarital counseling, from which I can now draw the unassailable conclusion that my 17-year-old self was exceedingly naive and an utter idiot to boot. I need a stiff drink now   POOF! to hot chocolate, extra-dark, with cinnamon, then I'll flip some laundry and probably do some dusting and vacuuming in here to get the stuff I've stirred up. Yes Moms, at some point I will eat breakfast. :P

Next up:

I really have to leave and get some errands run, but I did a quick peek and I HAVE to ask you, dogged, how did you EVER come up with the dogs names  ? I have wanted to ask, but couldn't resist today after reading that "Inertia" didn't want to go out. The idea of "Inertia" not moving was just too much!

*waves to CJ and Oreos too and congrats to those that have had some breakfast!

LOL, and you'll be happy to hear that my eggs were just as healthy, countrycook--lots of vegetables added. WTG on working on your taxes. And good job of protecting your dm, mini-Cujo dog! :D

butterfly, my bff told me what hounds were like, because she grew up with them (I was accustomed to sporting dogs). I was reading a chemistry textbook at the time that I had settled on adopting a black and tan coonhound, and when I read that "Inertia is an object's resistance to any change in its state of motion" that sounded exactly like a hound to me!

WTG on what you got done, kitkat and enjoy your run :D

WTG everyone!! I've been lurking and working. When are we moving? Not a clue. We found our house a long time ago and are now in our eighth month of waiting on other people to get their act together, filling out mortgage paperwork for the second time (the first was good for six months, and has expired), and counting down the next ten days until our awesome rate (5.0000%) is no longer locked in because that is expiring too...    I'm really not all that worried about it; only annoyed when I think about it too much, which is not often at all, because I am not NEARLY as excited about the end result as DH is...

TaDa, definitely not in this order:
dark dark hot chocolate
folded and put away lol
scooped litter X3
swish&swiped
water X3
banana, piece of cheese, piece of cinn/raisin bread, and water--okay Moms?
fed monsters
filed/shredded for 15 minutes
unhooked old dead computer, hooked up other one and set it up on my desk
dusted and vacuumed into many icky corners of this overstuffed room
went through lots of old photos...laughed...cried...shook head...
emptied vacuum canister twice and shredder twice
checked calendar
decluttered a bunch more stuff from my desk
organized all my church music (well, for one church) into page protectors in a 3-ring binder
put binder, books, hymnals vertically on top of piano with pretty bookends instead of their former heap on bench
emailed to ask when newsletter prep help was needed
called DH to renege on cooking dinner--taking him to Olive Garden instead (yay gift cards!)
did a bunch more miscellaneous stuff in this room...
took vitamins
dumped dead stuff from fridge
figured out where to take old computer for recycling
made the bed
remembered just in time to extract CD from old computer
just about forgiven 17-year-old self...there really weren't many obvious red flags after all, maybe just stuff that only years of experience dealing with people and their pasts could have made a person know to think about...

Rest of Dailies:
Bible
s2s
flip dw and spiff kitchen
reboot laundry

Also ToDo:
verify music for Saturday
start planning the following week and Palm Sunday as requested
figure out what kind of cookies I'm baking for soldier and if I need any ingredients

Crastination List:
1) post office for boxes
2) replace dead outside light fixture
3) caulk around new light fixtures
4) :15 summarizing agency info for group website

Wavin to Dogged
Countrycook, congrats on finding the tax paper.
kitkat, cooking only looks simple.
butterfly, its DS12 who notices things here.

cut/sorted coupons
discovered a DPC could only be made at home
have work at pet payroll for awhile
got DSs at school and took to haircut
lol hanging outdoors in dryer to finish
made DPCs
sent DS14 (the mushroom) back outside

sorted laundry and got a load washing
took out trash
brought in mail--ANOTHER gift card! wow, the blood bank loves me, although I don't understand how I should possibly have this many...

I broke open the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and scrubbed my bathroom sink within an inch of its life. I can't remember when I've seen it sparkle like this! It's amazing how the soap scum can build up and make things dull and not really be noticeable until you see it properly clean. :D

Now that was unexpected. Inertia was begging for raw cauliflower, so I checked the toxic lists and dogs and bunnies can have it, so I offered it around. All of the bunnies liked it, Inertia gobbled it down of course, and even Job wanted seconds. Who would have thought that the bane of human children would turn out to be so welcome to both dogs and rabbits? :D
