AF - lol! Maybe it's different because we have girls... We are an hour and a half away and dh still likes us to call every morning and night to fill him in on all we did. Don't know what he'll do the first time we go away for a week on a church youth trip or something.

dd4 slept through my dmom, ddad and dsis all leaving. She was tired. Got a little upset when she woke up and everyone was gone. Then a little more upset whenshe realized we are going home this morning.

Emily has woken up her normal cheerful self. She is just a cooing and a babbling in her bouncer. Quite a bit to say and you can't help but smile.

Ok need to get things packed up. Off I go - Probably check in once we are home and settled. I AM ACTUALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING LAUNDRY!!!

A great BIG AMEN to that :!: Coming from a mom who has had her share of school troubles with her three sons IKWYM :!:

Atlanticflyer and Grammybug, My old microwave that lasted forever (LOL) was repaired twice so I know they can be repaired. This last time that it died though it was so old I did not want to bother to see if it could be fixed. I ended up buying the same brand Panasonic. So far we are very happy with it.

Good Thursday morning, SHE ville. It is still morning here.

I'm very late checking in this morning. Still trying to get rid of a sinus headache plus yesterday I ended up with a rare tension headache after BratBoy threw one of his temper fits. Why? I told him I'd go in with him to see the adviser at the college (so he hopefully wouldn't overload himself or find himself at 2 different campuses on the same day) but I was not going to go with him to the financial aid office. That set it off ..... and then there was the issue of if he couldn't get all his car problems taken care of he'd need all his classes at the CAMPUS SERVED BY THE BUS (free to students) THAT STOPS A BLOCK UP THE STREET! He totally blew up at the idea he might have to take a city bus with the common folk.

I have enough stress over my teaching that I'm being forced to computerized. You know what else? I am too darned old to cope with a hostile teenager.

Home from payroll. Going to a Pampered Chef party after dinner to support a friend. Microwave can be repaired, needs a new magnatron -- doesn't that sound like a made-up word! It has to be ordered, be here in 5-7 working days.

Have things settled down a bit without having to transfer nathan around too AF?

Pandi - It's good now. The problem was an end pipe that had been buried when they put a resvoir pond behind us in a new sub division and forgotten about. It had been about 3-5 years since the last time it had been flushed out and finally got to the point that each time pressure eased off the "ick" water came back far enough to go into our pipes. FYI - Those pipes are SUPPOSED to be flushed at AT LEAST once a quarter  :?

They also put some extra chlorine in our water to really help clean the pipes out and get them cleaned out better. It is SO much better!! Much happier.

Girls are in bed. DD4 actually came home and put herself down for a nap for like 2 hours and then I went in and woke her up. Emily fussed to go down but once I laid her down she was out.

Alrighty! Everyone have a good night!

Withholding the 2x4 since he found the little orange sliver of something and unjammed my printer.

Also he carried in a big load of groceries for me.

:D :D :D
I didn't PLAN on going to the store. I started out to get a banana split at Sonic but .... I virtuously figured I really should go to the grocery and get some veggies to keep up my 4-5 servings/day .... and as long as I was in the store and had a partial list with me ... well, I ended up with $138 of groceries.

I settled on some Skinny Cow truffles of which I've had 2.

Home from the Pampered Chef party and a trip to the grocery -- not connected at all. Needed primarily bread and milk, and to rethink a bit due to the broken microwave. DS17 is on a rearranging kick as he has a friend coming to visit next week. He really want to clear out the garage and set up the pool table. It "might" happen.
