So, I made my bed, completing my morning routines. Then I put in Oklahoma in the VCR ... after my first post this morning the song stuck in my head .... lay down to watch it, and promptly fell asleep. Woke up feeling exactly like I was coming down with something.

Churchie - Sounds like you are making the right choices. My guess would be goddaughters dad would feel the "unease" and it could put a damper on a special day.

Pandi - Hope you feel better. If our weather is headed your way then your in for some loveliness soon. It started out Yuck but ended up bright, sunny and in the low 70's. Hoping tomorrow is nice too so I can actually take a break and enjoy it.

ok - I went to 10 different places today to get last minutes need-to's done. Ankles are [b]swollen[\b] and body is generally achy. My lower back is EXTREMELY tender. At least this weekend all I [b]HAVE[\b] to do is go enjoy two df's baby showers. Everything has been dropped off, paid for, picked up, and completed. Now this weekend dh and I will make a grocery list but he and dd can go either Saturday or Sunday when I am at baby showers. DD's 4 yr check is Mon and Pre-opp last pregnant exam/ultrasound is Tues. Then at least 2 weeks before I go in a store.

Parent Teacher conferences today. Why am I thinking of the only teacher I didn't like, instead of all the teachers I did?
Kids in the house left me land locked. One of those days that I'd like to trade in the dh.
Maybe some tea will give me an attitude adjustment.
DD15 and her "boyfriend" held hands on the sofa watching a Mythbusters marathon last night. Oh my, they might be a match made in heaven.

Took massive doses of Vit C and 2 naproxin. Going to plug into Darth pretty soon and keep the airways open. Going to grab a short nap but set the alarm so I can do evening routines a bit early because I've got a lot to do this weekend.

I'm here, jujubean. Made a stop on the way home from work, helped DS17 finish a project, took him to a rehearsal. Now home. He's spending the night with a friend, so I'm on my own.

AF - In the past 6 months or so there have been 4 babies born and there are at least 3 more on the way not including me.

All nice and clean. Took a shower and as soon as I comb my hair I will be ready for bed. Dd is has passed the easily fall asleep tired and gone into the fight it with as many distractions as possible tired. DH just came out and she is in there whimpering for him. It's breaking his heart.

Dh has to go 2 towns over for work the Monday after I have Emily so I had to call df to see if she could babysit me. It took her a minute to realize I wasn't joking - dh was not comfortable leaving me alone with both girls so soon after the surgery. So on 3/22 I will have a babysitter. She is also a very df and it will be nice to spend time with her and at the same time I am comfortable enough with her and my girls that I will be able to zonk out and take it easy. It is her dd that is having the baby shower tomorrow.

Home from church. On the way home from work I ran by Target - we needed paper goods for church. They also had coffee in 1 lb cans on sale. I bought four and left a note for the folks setting up tomorrow to use that coffee first - I want those cans for baking kulich, the Russian Pascha bread!

People have actually sent me flyers for upcoming events, so I have to add some stuff to the pan-Orthodox association website.

No chick flick tonight, jujubean. Texted with Dfriend about an ongoing ministry issue. Then I watched Supernanny's 100th episode. She was revisiting some of her favorites. One was a 40-yr-old widow with 2 young children. Jo did beautiful things when she first visited her. Made me cry then -- made me cry tonight.
