So happy I could afford Zy some amusement. What I really need is the BGS and Zy's boot applied as soon as the BGS takes effect.

Yeah ... but who's hoarding the BGS? Can't apply the boot until I get my plump posterior un-stuck.

Found a container with a little bit of almost dried up BGS and it got me through the rest of my morning routines except s2s. Looking at lunch, then s2s, then an errand to pick up Rx at Walgreens and visit the newly opened HEB Plus grocery.

The Plus stores carry a much broader selection of especially non-grocery items and this one replaces a regular HEB not too far away. Also has gas pumps. Won't be using it all the time because I love my regular HEB. Nearest Plus store was halfway to San Marcos (15 miles).

AG - We don't watch ANY sports at our house...not even golf or curling. Just can't get into them. DH watches UFC cuz it has his ju jitzu and stuff but it just bores me.

((Pandora)) - Hope you feel better!

Grammy - Glad you were able to go to the Life celebration.

((HUGS)) for anyone I missed.

At Mcd's now. Emily is (of course) doing great. My amniotic fluid is down from 13cm to 9cm but they don't really get concerned until it gets around 5cm so we are still good. Looks like she is going to hold out until the 18th. So we have 8 more days. I'll live.

Ok dd is pushing her luck today. I am thinking this will be a short visit to Mcd's if the attitude holds.

Good afternoon everyone!

It has been a great day here so far. The sun is shinning through some clouds and it is really nice. A bit breezy but really nice. Had a great time at PWOC. I am really liking the study we are doing. It really helps that more people are getting involved in it too. Allison was wide awake the entire time. She sang with us at the beginning and she even prayed with us. And she also put her two cents worth into every conversation and aspect of the study. It was so cute though. She has everyone on my side of the table cracking up. :) Right now she is taking a nap. I am going to get DH up for work and then get some lunch and relax until Allison wakes up then going for a walk.

Hope everyone is doing well. (((HUGS))) to all.

Good morning ladies!!

I haven't checked in in a while but am here now. Still going to school part-time still babysitting niece. jejejej She's sleeping now and my history midterm essay is due by saturday. So I've got lots to do. Waiting for my second cup of coffee to cool down so I can drink it and get lots of reading done today.

Made bed
Swished and swiped
Laundry (just today I've started color sorting, I was the one who would throw it all in there.. jejej I'm trying to change my ways)
Cleaned sink
Washed dishes
Put beans on stove
Swept living room
Vaccumed all rooms
Had lunch and put DN2 to sleep.

waving to atlantic, muchiz, juju, coco, Momnkids, AGranny, Pandi, and all LLs!

muchiz, welcome back! Good to "see" you again.

juju, way too much PTA.

coco, how funny that Allison "made a joyful noise" all during your Bible study! She'll be in kids' choir before we know it!

momnkids, how long did the McD's last?

atlantic, IKWYM about 2d shift.

It has stopped raining here but it's really grey. We may be in for more rain before the day is out. OK by me, it's melting the last of the snow.

Good to see Muchiz posting.

My plans were derailed by a call from the HOA manager so we rehashed last night's meeting. Then I had lunch. Then I showered. Then I played among my flower pots on the patio. Still not fully dressed so obviously no errands have been run. And the afternoon is half gone .....

Hello Atlantic hello runnersmom

Since I am comparing and contrasting slavery in the U.S. and Cuba to slavery in Mexico, here is a great poem I just ran into thanks to my professor. Enjoy! :D

Ain’t I a woman?
By Isabella Baumfree better known as Sojournen Truth.

This poem came from her most famous
speech, adapted into poetic form by Erlene Stetson

That man over there say
a woman needs to be helped into carriages
and lifted over ditches
and to have the best place everywhere.
Nobody ever helped me into carriages
or over mud puddles
or gives me a best place. . .

And ain't I a woman?
Look at me
Look at my arm!
I have plowed and planted
and gathered into barns
and no man could head me. . .
And ain't I a woman?
I could work as much
and eat as much as a man--
when I could get to it--
and bear the lash as well
and ain't I a woman?
I have born 13 children
and seen most all sold into slavery
and when I cried out a mother's grief
none but Jesus heard me. . .
and ain't I a woman?
that little man in black there say
a woman can't have as much rights as a man
cause Christ wasn't a woman
Where did your Christ come from?
From God and a woman!
Man had nothing to do with him!
If the first woman God ever made
was strong enough to turn the world
upside down, all alone
together women ought to be able to turn it
rightside up again.

Well I am waiting for Allison's doctor(or nurse) to call me back. I need to know how much tylenol I need to give her for tomorrow. She has her 2 month check up and she also gets shots. :( And of course it's a day that DH has to work so I have to go by myself. I just have to keep telling myself "it is for her own good" DH is going to pick up some Tylenol tonight on his break.

I will go for a walk right after the doctor calls me back.

Pandi, I heard that there were cranes at the viewing spot in central Nebraska last weekend! Sounds like there are more on the way.

{{{coco}}} Sweet baby will be fine after her shots. After DD/25 got her 2-month shots, she slept for 12 straight hours. And she was not ordinarily a good sleeper, so you can imagine how nervous that made me!

Great poem, muchiz.

AGranny, sounds like a pleasant day.

atlantic, did DS get hurt at the gym?

Almost time to blow on outta here for the gym. Having fish for supper after that.

Blessed evening, everyone!

Well apparently there was a recall on Tylenol. So DH couldn't get any because they pulled it from the shelves. So now I have to call a friend and see if they have any I can use.

Any way it is really windy out so didn't walk long. Might go to the BX and walk around there. Or maybe just take a nap.

Cocobean, You should check the lot #'s on ANY tylenol you might borrow. Here's the recall list for the childrens tylenol that was recalled straight from tylenol.com

Good to see Supermama.

Skipped the Rx pickup, mailed 2 checks, went to the new HEB Plus grocery. Parking was he** because the old building stands between the new store and the old parking lot but they do have handicapped parking around the new store so finally got one there. Store is not the place if you are in a hurry or just need milk and bread. Got a mild workout just walking around .... but I really just went to investigate it.

Old store will be torn down.

Runners - Not long after I posted :? I was as done as she was. Right now I am UBER pregnant we are talking ALL out front obvious pregnant lady coming through and that is not really all that conducive to the bench seating they have at the tables...I was sitting on my femurs

Coco - my dh won't go to Dr appts concerning shots. I don't think he has been to one since dd was born. He can't stand it even though he knows she has to have it. The first time he had to be activly involved in a painful dr appt for her was October when she broker her arm and because I was pregnant I couldn't sit with her for the x-rays. Some of the x-rays made her scream but dh did great. He was quick to comfort and distract.

Ok time for a kids say the darndest things segment....

We were in the checkout line at Walmart and dd was taking her time getting out of the cart. In a slightly frustrated voice I told her "Come on Katie mommy is tired" and in the sweetest voice she replied "Of repeatin yourself mama?". If I didn't know better I would suspect sarcasm :P

ok Thinking there is tylenol in my future. I am tired and sore. Dinner was easy Rice with eggs and breakfast sausage all mixed together. It's simple and quick. That's about all there is nowadays :D

Possibly CIL. May put dh on duty when he gets home and go prop myself up in the bed to get sleep before dd is actually asleep.

Tomorrow my baby will be 4!!   I don't know how that happened! She has gotten to plan out her day though so it should be a fun day for her.

Just heard from DS21. He has a fractured skull and broken jaw.
I am driving the 11 hours to get to him as soon as it is daybreak.

(Would someone please cut and paste this to tomorrow's thread also. Thanks.)
