You girls are doing great! MCL, I won't tell you how many untried DVDs I have.

SmileLee, my consistency has fallen off. I've not been planking for a few days. Planning to tonight, though. I want to try the straight-arm kind-- haven't done those before.

My friend with the hip problems is doing better, so we are back to walking. :D Had a nice walk in the park this morning. 10000 steps.

jehanne - I find that being conscious of what needs to be done is half the battle...
WTG on walking!
SmileLee, MCL, Gma - keep posting:)

Doodle ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR RACE

Happy to report:
I'm making progress with my back. (I'd hate to think that doing less exercise is the reason... This definitely was a slower week for me for a variety of reasons.)
On the positive side: I kept up the Plank each day - doubled on Thursday.
Did a Spin class, a Pilates class and a Sculpt class.
Step count: averaging 8,000 in the past 6 days.
I've been diligent about doing my back exercises.

Thinking of Doodle today! Run well!

I kept my exercise plan this week. It wasn't too intense and that helped.
T - ran 4.5 miles flat
W - yoga class
Th - ran the arb hill x2 (.6 miles up; fairly steep)
Today -- I will run 6 miles flat.

I also did my planks most days but actually forgot about them a couple days.

I went to the Dr. Thursday and have a referral for a physical therapist which is what my shoulder needs. I was tickled b/c my resting heart rate for the first time was below 60. My resting heart rate was 58 bpm. Blood pressure was fine, 98/68, and it's never been a problem.
