WEEKLY EXERCISE PLEDGES - April 16 -22

Postby kitkat » Mon Apr 17, 2017 4:08 am

It's all about giving ourselves the opportunity to meet a challenge, and, whatever happens, doing more than we would have.
State your exercise plans for the week then post when you've done it. You can be as specific or as vague as you like in your plans. Be realistic in your goals - if you're not used to exercising or just getting back into it start off small - remember Baby Steps! At the end of the week add up your total and see how you did!

Where is everyone?

Today: 11,000 steps and a Barre class.
(Last week's total was 300 steps short of 70,000 steps)

Hello! SO glad to SEE you!! 8) :D
Maybe others have had the same issue I've been having. When I clicked on my bookmark for this site at different times, it said it couldn't find the server. I was afraid my SHE friends were gone forever!

WOW, those are impressive numbers, Kitkat! Do you do ballet moves in Barre class?
There are things I really like about T-tapp (certain exercises that seem to help me); but I was thinking the other day about yoga and ballet. They are both more appealing because they are so beautiful to watch. I am not beautiful to watch while trying to imitate them  ; but the hope remains that if I kept trying, I would become more graceful, as well as more toned and lovely.

So, anyway, I have been getting about 7000+ steps in, most days. Also did T-tapp on Sat. Short bit of yoga on Fri. That was last week; I'm reporting it bc we went out of town, and I couldn't report it before. :)

It sure is good to be back on the boards!
It's rainy and cool here - no good numbers today, jehanne. I like your variety.
Barre is not really ballet-like although there is a bit of overlap... A fantastic workout .

Tuesday: Hot Yoga and 5,800 steps
Wednesday: no formal exercise - no idea about total steps - I left Fitbit at home...
Thursday: Sculpt class and 7,000 steps

I hope kuruni, Gma, Doodle and others are OK, too.

Today: no formal exercise but LOTS of errands, and over 10,000 steps.

Wow... Yes, I also hope everyone is fine-- will be back next week! :?

I have a ballet DVD that I bought and tried... once. The warm-up exercises were hard! :o I never made it any farther.

I still haven't been doing much in the formal exercise dept. Around 7000 or so steps per day. We've gotten busy having kids! Goat kids, that is. We have six so far, and expect more by tomorrow.
