Grammybug, I'm sorry about the car troubles but I am so glad you were not driving on your trip when it happened. You're home safe and that's what matters most. HOPE (hang on pray expectantly) your car can be fixed quickly and for the least amount of money. I am also very thankful you have kind and generous friends willing to help you out.

:D Good Morning! :D

Is it still raining there Pandora?
My fingers are crossed that it’s not

I’ve organized my coupon drawer this morning. I must have thrown away three-quarters of them, unfortunately. It’s a big drawer that I drop the coupons I clip or get in the mail. So glad I finally around to doing that. The drawer was stuffed and now I can actually start saving. Baby steps towards organization!

Going to have a late breakfast right now.
I’ll check in again soon...

Hi Atlanticflyer! Do you have the holiday off today?
Someday I hope that DH and I can to make an extended trip through Canada. Such a beautiful country!

Breakfast done. I’m ashamed at how much I ate.
I’m trying to reconcile that I won’t be eating again until dinner time.

Grammybug, also grateful that you made it all the way home too.

Reluctantly trodding off now to put the last touches on the walk-in closet.
Reluctant because I know what the next two jobs are.

HAPPY VICTORIA DAY TO THE CANADIANS.

We are here at home as we didn't get to San Jose for the weekend with the kids - and the falcons fledging from City Hall. I am so sad - don't know just when we can get over there. There was an emergency with the neighbor next door that was to have birdsat for us and we don't have a backup - so - no go to SJ. I am now going over to the place where we would board our dogs and I think they will take her for a weekend when we need it. The logistics of "going away" for awhile and the kids coordinating to see us gets more and more daunting. :(

I did have a good time watching the festivities at Windsor Castle. It was beautiful and I just love those two. I think - rather I know that Harry is just like his Mom and he and Meghan will be very busy with her charities and now their own charities. Wonderful! (I am thinking of Austin Granny. I am sure she was glued to her TV. She loves them too.) :)

Hope you all are having a great day. We are in rain too, PAN. :(

I’m so sorry you couldn’t make your trip Sierra
I get how daunting it is to get away and have all the stars aligned to do so. We have a much older, much loved dog who does not travel well at all - never did - and at her age, I worry about boarding her. Between that and schedules that don’t coincide, I only get to see my two DSs together just once a year.

I can’t believe that I slept in for the royal wedding! I’m a news junkie so I was able to catch up quite well though.

Wondering what Pandi is up to today?

Looking around for some BGS for myself...

goldens would love for you to take a trip up north! I did have the day off.

Sierra sorry about the trip not working out. we stopped having dogs for that reason. i love the Royals and have seen the ceremony in pieces. I admit to liking Kate and William a tad bit better but it is almost like flavoring one child over another  the littles are so adorable!

Tapping my toes.... waiting on DH......
We were supposed to get a quick bite somewhere and see a local musical this evening, but he is still outside doing yard work. He will still have to shower yet too. I guess I’ll make a sandwich. We’ll barely make it as it stands. Sigh.

Good evening, dear SHEs. I have to figure out what to do about my car. It's probably the battery. I have roadside assistance on my insurance, so I guess I'll call for a jumpstart. I have cables, but no one to help me right now. If I get it started, I will drive directly to WalMart, less than a mile away, and have a new battery installed.
