TwinA's group is suppose to go swimming today, but there is a 30 percent chance of rain between 11AM & 2PM. It's grey out right now. If it just stays grey that will be good because it'll keep the sun off them. Rain won't keep them out of the pool only lightening will. We need the rain badly, but for the sake of their trip today I hope it holds off. They have to walk to get to the city bus. He is in flip flops today since they're going to the pool.

Good morning, Pandora,
and good Friday morning, SHE town.

Sending good vibes for rain that comes timely ... like after the pool trip.

I'll be doing clean up in the bathroom today, not because Handy Guy didn't
clean up the deconstruction work but because I have the chance to clean the
wall where the vanity was and the floor. Seriously thinking about painting it
if I have enough of the blue paint left I used on the ceiling and one Book Room
wall. There isn't a whole lot of wall space in the bathroom anyway with the med
cabinet, the matching hanging cabinet over the toilet, the linen closet and the
shower surround.

The good news is that there was almost no roach residue and every possible opening
has been sealed.

Morning Austin Granny. Good luck with the mini renovation of your bathroom. It's a good time to paint with the vanity out.

Some sun keeps popping through so I'm thinking it may turn out well with some clouds to keep the direct sun off them. I sprayed TwinB pretty good with sun screen this morning and told him to put some on his face when he gets there. I noticed the back of his neck has been getting a lot of sun with him out walking riding the city bus.

I set a reminder on my phone to tell me not to forget to pick up DH by 3PM to take him to pick up some new eyeglasses at the VA optical shop. They close at 4PM. I'll be picking up TwinA too, but he needs to message me when he gets on the city bus to head back to the college campus.

I don't really have much else planned for today. The week has made me tired and I'd like to be resting on my bed.

Applied Tilex, a microfiber scrub and then a rinse with plain water to the mold/mildew on the wall where the old vanity sat. Have both bathroom doors open and a fan on it to dry. Will consult with Handy Guy about applying Kilz before painting there.

Taking down the elephant in small bites.

Handy Guy applied a small amount of spray KIlz ... and I think I will delay showering until morning. Can't quite kill of the Kilz smell.
