Not much got done last week. I did get a few stitches done on both Stealth and the Vervaco table runner. Hoping for more progress this week.

Hi, Everyone! Great Job!
We are having a big recital on Sunday. I also have started co-teaching a 1 hour STEM class(electronics) to young children on Mondays. I need to prepare for that as we had a class, Winter break, 1 class, a day off :lol:
My goal is 2 rows done this week at least!

Loki, I "hear you" on the 'year of cleaning out.' :lol:
However, I've promised 2 twin sized quilts to the kids of the Nice Family, and would like them (or at least ONE) done by the time they come back in March.
In May, the friend's daughter who got married in June last year is expecting a baby, and I have a darling (but looks easy) quilt kit quilt for that.
In June, the friend from above OTHER two daughters get married in a double wedding. I'm figuring by 1st anniversary I'll have these.
However, I've been storing the fabric for the 1st 2 quilts, and one of the wedding quilts is going to use up a set of blocks from Jo Ann fabrics when they still made nice quilt stuff, so THAT IS clearing out, right?!

I didn't have much time to stitch last week, but I enjoy my new starts and working on my projects. Last week I especially liked working on A playful day. This might actually become my go to project.

Not much got done last week thanks to the flu - hopefully this week I will get some energy back. I can't decide if I should post like last year all the completions or just keep a tally!

Nannika you are racing through your projects. You keep me going - where do you find the energy?

MCL good luck with all the quilts I know you can get them finished. It does feel good to get projects done and things cleared out doesn't it! Bonus is you know who you are giving them to. I was feeling so lousy last week I accidentally ordered more yarn. But it is amazing when you feel like that you really start thinking about how you don't need to stock things up - everything will always be in the stores and new stuff is always coming out. I have decided to just make everything up and if anyone wants it they can have it. I managed to use up 2 balls of left over cashmere and made 2 hats. Felt good to use it up and give them away. Easy knitting when you can't even focus.

Week #4 - hopefuls

I am TOTALLY wiped out after the 3 hour marathon recital. :roll:
I DID prepare and teach the class and it went well this week. Ironically, coteacher was also tired, but kids seemed hyped up. :lol:

You are doing great, Loki! You have already plenty of finishes and the year has just begun. WTG! I am also stitching from my stash this year. I will not be able to finish it all by December, but at least I am off to a good start making progress little by little. :D

OKAY. I met my 2 row goal. SINCE the block size is 3", it's a challenge to get together! :lol:

Pin-basting DONE!

ONLY problem: son33 is coming back here. SO. NO hubby, our only nice living room couch is NOT moving to the sun porch for son33 to sleep on. There are several futons. I really DON'T want him THAT comfortable!!!
LAST time here was here, he lasted 3 months and he and hubby were calling the cops on each other. :evil: IF it is more permant, SIL has a bed that he could use, and I could replace hers with a newer/hopefully better one as HER back deserves this! :wink:
