Fish and chips (french fries) with peas and bread and butter, always have that on Friday evening if possible, easy made in the oven and not much washing up. Not Catholic but grew up in a Catholic area and caught the habit, and as I said it is easy.

Tonight I am making grilled chicken and hummus pita sandwiches. I picked up a roasted red pepper hummus at the grocery store yesterday and can't get enough of it!

Tonight is a special night here. Our Ohio State Buckeyes are playing for the National Championship.

DD11 is making tater skins, Im making wings and DH is bringing home a rack of ribs from one of our favorite places. We'll also snack on chips. Not very nutritous, but oh well.

Yummers!
Tonight is affectionately called "your on your own" DSS14 has a wrestling meet so we will buy him a grinder on the way home. DH will eat the leftover meatloaf. I'll have the leftover salmon. 2 kids are working (MacDonalds). Other 4 will fend for themselves.

Tomorrow night is "parker's pasta" named for my stepson18 who loves it.
Basically hot sausage, red peppers, onions, mushrooms, penne pasta, reduced chicken stock, half and half, red pepper flake (we like it hot), whatever fresh herbs I have on hand and lots o' parmesean cheese. Very decadent and delicious!

I just went cruising for a chicken casserole recipe...the winner was MillerMomma's. Sounds delicious and I have all the ingredients LOL. However, instead of boiling the chicken, I will fry it (to placate DH  )

Christmas dinner is on the menu tonight. Turkey is in the oven, cranberry sauce is outside cooling in the snow, potatoes peeled stuffing is in the box and I will cut up some veggies. The kids prefer them raw so that is how they get them. We didn't get it on the day so we will have it now. And there is so much less stress involved having it now.
