Do you cook your meat before you roll it?

Thanks, ladies. I make meals for my parents for Christmas and this is the first time doing cabbage rolls. I made some once about 17 years ago but forgot how I did it. Some recipes say to roll up the raw meat and rice.

hi :)

I know my answer comes a bit late, but it could help someone else maybe (just registered to the forum).
The Lebanese cuisine has a recipe of cabbage rolls.
And we roll up the meat and the rice raw. We then put the rolls in the pot and cover with water and cook.
If you're interested, I can give you the recipe. It is delicious ! :D

Take care
